Managing your booking

Once the dinner party or event is booked with a set menu date and number of guests a 15% deposit of the quoted amount is required within 48 hours to when the booking is made.

Once this payment is received your booking will be confirmed. This deposit is non-refundable. Please note that dates cannot be secured without a deposit.

The final payment is due no later than 5 days prior to the event.

Your invoice will be issued 10 days prior to your event along with your tailored menu.

To avoid any delays please provide the full guest list alongside any dietary requirements.

Children

Children under 12 can be catered for with mains and desserts for $35 per child. Children's meals must be booked at time of booking. You will be sent options for your children's meals with your final menu. All children will receive the same meal unless there are dietary restrictions.

Menus

Menus are created on a seasonal basis and may differ from the sample menus on the website. Your menu will be sent to you approximately 10 days prior to your event once we have received all the necessary information about your event. Dietary requirements can be catered for and must be provided before the final menu is sent to you, please ensure that all dietary requirements are listed as particular ingredients may potentially pose risk to your guests if their dietary needs are not communicated properly. The menu is a chef's choice and your party will all receive the same menu, with the exception of those with specific ingredients that do not meet their dietary needs. Change of mind regarding preferences will not be accommodated on the night.

Menu requests

If you would like a specific item included on your menu, please liaise with chef Wadzi to see what amendments can be made whilst keeping in mind that due to the rapidly increasing cost of ingredients and availability of certain produce at particular times of the year that this may not be possible. Kindly note that for every dining experience the menu is a set menu tailor made for your event and not an a la carte dining experience.
Your menu is curated around seasonal availability and asking for premium ingredients or items which are not in season may incur a sucharge.

Travel fees

Due to the rising cost of transport, travel fees will be applicable to bookings outside of Metropolitan Melbourne depending on distance from CBD.

Bookings in Greater Melbourne - AU$75

Regional Victoria - AU$150

No travel fees are applicable to Metropolitan Melbourne.

Minimum spends

Due to high demand the following dates are applicable to a minimum spend:

Special dates including Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Years Eve, Easter public holidays, Melbourne Cup, New Years Day - AU$1000

Postponing Cancellations

We understand life can get in the way of plans, and we can try to accommodate this and book another date on special consideration. Events that are not cancelled or postponed within 10 days of the event will result in loss of the deposit fees. Events cancelled 24 hrs prior to the event will be non refundable as a result of time wasted, preparing the menu and source goods that would have already been purchased in advance to service the event.

Please note due to demand, the new proposed date you wish to postpone to may be unavailable if on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday due to other booking accepted in the past. You will need to be flexible to find a suitable date. If your new date is more than 6 months in the future from your original date then you may receive a new menu and pricing as a result of change in seasonal produce and cost.

Changing guest numbers

If the numbers of guests change prior to the date please let us know as soon as possible so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

If the guest numbers increase depending on the dining experience selected please be aware that we may need to add on an additional chef which is charged at $50 per hour for a minimum of 3 hours.

In the event that your guest numbers decrease within 5 days of the event, then please be aware there are no refunds of the paid invoice as ingredients will have already been purchased.
